Automatic Canonization Policy

The following information is automatically considered canon in the CD Universe without approval from staff. The intent is to allow players freedom to write their own backstories that fit into the world.

• New Species so long as they are not a dominant species in the Drift or in "Known Space"
• New Planets, Factions, and Star Systems far outside of The Drift or "Known Space" not exceeding a few billion people or control of a few planets.
• Small organizations and obscure planets within The Drift provided they do not conflict with established lore.

"Known Space" is defined ags areas of space which the average person in the current real life year would know about, such as Earth and anything in the Sol system, Alpha Centuri, etc.

Note that Game or Lore staff may decide to de-canonize your lore made under this policy if they feel like it conflicts with our lore or creates problems in-game.
